What are the 4Cs and why do they matter?

Every diamond is unique, but its quality is universally measured using the 4Cs: Cut, Colour, Clarity and Carat Weight.

Together, these four characteristics determine a diamond's beauty, rarity and value.

Cut influences how brilliantly a diamond reflects light.

Colour measures how white or colourless a diamond appears.

Clarity refers to the natural inclusions formed as the diamond developed beneath the earth.

Carat measures a diamond's weight – not necessarily its beauty.

Why does cut influence a diamond's sparkle?

A beautifully cut diamond can often appear brighter and more vibrant than a larger stone with an inferior cut.

EVERLAST features full cut round brilliant diamonds, each with 57–58 precisely cut facets. These facets work together to capture and reflect light, creating the fire, brilliance and sparkle diamonds are celebrated for.

Does a bigger diamond mean a better diamond?

Not necessarily.

Carat refers only to a diamond's weight – not its quality.

A smaller diamond with exceptional cut, colour and clarity can appear more brilliant than a larger stone with lower grades.

What does G–H colour mean?

G–H diamonds sit in the "near colourless" category, appearing beautifully white to the naked eye without noticeable yellow tones.

What is si clarity?

SI stands for Slightly Included. In EVERLAST's petite diamonds (under 0.01ct), these natural inclusions aren't visible without professional magnification, meaning each diamond appears eye-clean in everyday wear.
