Will my stone look exactly like the photo?
Each of our birthstones is natural, so no two are exactly alike. You may notice slight variations in tone, depth of colour and clarity from the stone pictured. We think this is part of what makes your piece so special – it is truly one of a kind.
Is the June birthstone a pearl or moonstone?
June is lucky enough to have two birthstones. In our Birthstone Necklace, June is represented by a freshwater pearl. Pearls are softer than gemstones, so please put your necklace on after perfume and lotion, and keep it away from water.
Will sterling silver tarnish?
Sterling silver can naturally tarnish over time, especially when exposed to moisture, perfume and lotions. The good news is that it can usually be restored to its original shine with a gentle polish using a jewellery polishing cloth.
To help prevent tarnishing, remove your piece before showering, swimming or sleeping, and store it in a cool, dry place with the anti-tarnish strip included with your order.
Can I wear more than one birthstone?
Absolutely. Many of our customers layer birthstone necklaces to celebrate their children, partner or loved ones. Try wearing two or three at different lengths, or pair your birthstone with an initial necklace for an extra personal touch.
