Kirstin Ash uses cultured freshwater pearls, selected for their natural iridescence and individuality. Our pearls are sourced from freshwater oysters and set into modern, considered designs that offer a contemporary take on the timeless pearl.

No two pearls are exactly alike. Throughout the sorting process, our suppliers use each pearl regardless of its natural shape or size. This helps to avoid unnecessary waste while celebrating the individuality of every piece, meaning your jewellery may have its own subtle character and variation.

Pearl jewellery can be worn regularly, but freshwater pearls are delicate and benefit from considered care. To help preserve their natural lustre, we recommend removing your pearl jewellery before swimming, bathing, exercising or sleeping, and avoiding contact with perfumes, lotions and harsh chemicals.

Freshwater pearls are delicate, so gentle care helps preserve their natural beauty. After wearing, gently wipe your jewellery with a soft, dry cloth to remove any residue. Keep pearls away from moisture, perfumes, lotions and harsh chemicals, and store them in a cool, dry place when not being worn.

Whilst pearls come from the water, we recommend removing your pearl jewellery before swimming, bathing or showering. Freshwater pearls are delicate and prolonged exposure to moisture, as well as perfumes, lotions and other chemicals, can affect their natural lustre over time.
